Mike Westhues - Hey guys, I've been listening to the
show. Great stuff you're playing. Eddie Skuller -
Thanks so much for supporting this music!
The compilation is the
brain child of Americana icon Tom Fahey who hosts
and produces the internationally syndicated radio program
"AmericanaOK". It will feature fifteen different Americana
artists from the best the genre has to offer.
"When we first heard the
Tokyo Rosenthal CD 'Love Won Out' we were at first
intrigued and then delighted by the eclectic mix of styles",
said Tom Fahey. "It quickly became a favourite generating a
great audience reaction. So you can imagine our pleasure
when 'Toke' contributed a track to the forthcoming
AmericanaOK compilation, 'Now That's AmericanaOK'. This will
help to spread the word about Tokyo Rosenthal, the other 14
contributors, the show and the Americana genre generally.
Tom Fahey presenter and producer of AmericanaOK is proud
have Tokyo Rosenthal on board."
"I'm so honoured to be on
this record with all these great artists", said Rosenthal.
"Some I know from the road and the rest I hope to meet soon
and perhaps put on one big show together. Thanks to Tom
Fahey for such a fine idea."

XM "X-Country" picked up "The Screamin Hollar Inn" this week-end,
and as far as I can tell, it's in some kind of rotation with them. I

Glenna BellI will leave you with a link to the AmericanaOK Christmas radio show, based in Edinburgh, Scotland and syndicated to CMR Nashville, KYOU Radio-San Francisco, and Radio Six International. Host, Tom Fahey, has put together an eclectic mix of original Christmas songs that goes beyond the standard holiday selections we normally hear at this time of the year. "Be My Valentine (On Christmas)" is the third song on the show, and one couldn't ask for a nicer introduction to it than Mr.Fahey's
Peter Walsh
- Your host is Tom Fahey who in my opinion gives the show a very Bob
Harris feel and is a great DJ. There's a fantastic mix of
singer/songwriters and bands on Tom's show every week, so if you're a
captive fan of roots music then check this out! Lynne Hanson - hey Tom. Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that I subscribed to your show and really enjoy the program! love being introduced to new artists, as well as some I recognize. Colleen McFarland

including Jim Armstrong and the song, Tomorrow's Gonna Be Grand from
Jim's MUDTOWN CD on episode 99. Host, Tom Fahey continues to bestow high
praise on the album and has kindly featured MUDTOWN along with purchase
links on this week's published playlist. Thank you Tom!
